Been playing for a long while now and I was so excited when titles came out, I did the whole grinding thing till I reached 28 titles... with drunkard and party title to finish the boot. I also established a huge collection collecting all the rare or "rare-has-beens" Warrior Sets (tormented, zods, celes, gothic, destroyers, etc; too long to list) u can ever imagine since the establishment of GW that was equiped on his inventory and his heroes, and probably only the obsi blade and crystalline are the only 2 items not in my possesion, had an obi armor on and all the good stuff... yah on my good old title char: Hellios Rayearth - - > my total estimate of this characters worth about 9-12 million (pre-zaishen depreciation)

May 22, 2008 night time, I got an anonymous pm from someone I didn't knw claiming to know who hacked my account and took all my items, etc;

After recieving this message, I did a whole background check on my account and this is what I found out.

all items in my main inventory had been cleared: stack of e, rare/popular items for my other chars, gems, stacks of Spiked Eggnogs and the excess ectos on my ecto farmer, Lajoya Graceheart...

Probably most of you are saying... "this guy is either a duper or a gold buyer, serves you right... scum."

well, i hope that was the case, cuz i if that was indeed true, i wouldnt feel as shitty as i do now. i can earn about 30-40e a day on a modified UW run I made due to the "Terra Revolution" that occured. Everything I've accomplished was due to hard work.

anywhere from 6-14 ectos drop in a 1.25-1.5 hour run

I wish I took a screenshot of my title char, when he was still "alive." I've already reported this incident to aNet, but I doubt anything can be done, since once a char is deleted..it cant be brought back.

I'm only doing this as a tribute to my title char, and my official "moving on from the game."

Was original password the one he said, as in the last part of your email + 123? If that's so, you kind of had it coming. That is a really simple password that can easily be semi-brute forced. I am sorry for your loss, but I hope you understand now why you need to be secure on the Internet. Imagine if the all the work/money was real $. 0.o

Geez, that is horrible. Robbing someone I can understand, but I don't get how people can get their jollies off by deleting title characters like that.

My worst experience (helping a Leeroy guild member through several EotN quests) doesn't even begin to compare.

no offence, but making a password like that is your fault for losing all of you stuff. did you have 2 accounts or something, 28 max titles in 3700 hours seems fast to me.

That account that messaged him was a trial account. The password still works(for the time being). So if the OP is saying the account that messaged him was his main with his title character, well then thats just not true.

But then again I didn't quite understand his original post, aside from his character was hacked and deleted.

i know people who made 20+ in less than 4 months.

the email, the anonymous person pm'd me is not mine... she jst told me to go there, before she deletes it... probably something they made to balckmail me... im anot a yahoo user, i do have a gmail and hotmail account and no that was not my password... the email that was posted by the anonymous was fictitous

I'm going to try not to be a jerk, but if that was your password, you were easy pickings.... EDIT: Already covered from above post. Ignore this.

Regardless, anyone losing a character or anything at all for someone else's amusement is complete GO RED ENGINE.

I am, however, skeptical about those screenshots. You traveled a good distance in a short amount of time of a chat log... something just doesn't seem right about that... but that's just me...

I'm still confused, what exactly happened? I take it you was on a different account then logged onto your hacked account to find this out? Did the person tell you how you were hacked?

if you're talking about the ecto farm.. yes those were some of my screens cuz i tested out how many ectos I get every run, and took screens of the lucky runs, bad runs, average runs and some screens of a "jackpot mob."
